What Is a Federal Apostille?

A Federal Apostille is required when a document was issued by a U.S. federal agency and will be used in another country that is part of the Hague Apostille Convention.

Federal apostilles are issued only by the U.S. Department of State in Washington, DC.

If the destination country is not part of the Hague Convention, the document will require authentication and embassy legalization instead.

We handle both processes.
